Percy Jackson and the Olympians, my second best books of all time, my second obsession after Harry Potter, thanks to uncle Rick Riordan for that. I’m a huge fangirl towards Percy Jackson’s stories and characters, but NOT THE MOVIE please. Never mention those huge failures in here, completely forbidden. Aku suka banget sama series ini, bukan suka, terobsesi. Sometimes I think of myself a witch schooled in Hogwarts during semesters, and train in Camp Half Blood during summer break, how cool is that?

Susah lepas dari dunia fandom ini semenjak baca buku pertamanya. Karakter favoritku di buku ini Luke Castellan sama Nico di Angelo. I always rooted for the baddies (not that Nico is bad, just Nico style). Karakter-karakter dengan dark side itu lebih menarik menurutku, but I always love Percy no matter what. Baca seri Percy Jackson ini bener-bener bikin aku kagum sekaligus bisa belajar tentang mitologi Yunani yang super keren (aku dari dulu selalu suka banget sama mitologi Yunani) tapi dengan sudut pandang dan penceritaan yang fresh jadi ga bikin bosen. Apalagi humornya Percy itu sesuatu banget, uncle Rick emang pinter bikin orang jatuh cinta sama gaya penulisan beliau.

Oh bagi yang rooted sama seri ini, wajib kepoin websitenya uncle Rick di Read Riordan. Isinya seputar buku-buku, quiz, sama artikel atau berita yang masih terkait sama novel uncle Rick. Bagi Demigod Yunani, harus banget ikutan quiz Who’s Your Godly Parent biar bisa tahu siapa orang tua Dewa kamu dan di cabin mana kamu tinggal selama di Camp Half Blood, seru banget! Kalo aku dapet Cabin 13 dong, yas I’m a daughter of Hades! Not so surprising, I love to be Nico’s sister. Aku dari dulu emang agak mysteriously dark-sided type of person, dan kalo ikutan quiz selalu bisa ditebak aku dapet apa.

Seri ini tu semua karakternya juga memikat banget. Kalo mau tau lebih detail tentang perjalanan tokoh selama di Rick Riordan’s universe bisa kepoin Riordan Fandom di wikia. Nah aku pengen share beberapa tokoh utama favorit aku di Percy Jackson and the Olympians, beserta quotes mereka yang gokil, asli.
